PATCHA

Turn wordwrap on.

There is a problem seems to be that long filename textures are not being translated properly by some computers, so that the .BGL files in the /scenery directory are looking for textures that don't exist.

The problem textures are

aptgrass2.bmp
asphalt_A_1.bmp

and possibles are

cropswolds.bmp
chalksoil.bmp
aptgrass1.bmp

The solution is quite simple.

Make a copy of all of the above as the scenery will still need these textures for some of the buildings etc.

Rename the copys to :

aptgrass2.bmp rename as aptgra~2.bmp
asphalt_A_1.bmp reaname as asphal~2.bmp
cropswolds.bmp reanme as cropsw~1.bmp
chalksoil.bmp rename as chalks~1.bmp
aptgrass1.bmp rename as aptgra~1.bmp

make sure that there as a copy of these textures in each \texture directory created by scenery which has any of the above in it.

HINT: It is possible to put all of my scenery in one master YORKSHIRE directory. all the .bgl go to yorkshire/scenery and all of the contents of the texture directories goto one /texture directory. Its how I am set up at home and it saves having lots of copies ofthe textures. If you do this make sure you overwrite textures earliest v1 airfields first so you get the latest version updating older textures.

that should do the trick.

Many thanks to all of my usual testers - see readme files
